| Since the beginning of 2005 I've been
experimenting with nocturnes - images of the hours from sunset to sunrise - and
I had some fantastic references of a stunning sunset we watched from up on
Steens Mountain in southeastern Oregon a few years ago. The area is frequented
by pronghorn, among other things, so it was quite easy to visualize this buck
pausing for a moment at the end of the day.
