| A really fabulous piece of reference material was
the inspiration for this portrait; the ram was so gorgeous and the
low light so beautiful that I wanted to treat it in an almost
classical fashion. Catching the liquidity of his eyes and the
textures on those massive horns was all part of the fun; I really
like this piece.
